The whole point to being "emo","indie","alternative" or whatever is to be different in some sort of way. Yes. seriously everyone is different but some differences are very similar to other. Yeah... I have been seeing this trend in my high school and for real that's not really that cool. So I'm not telling you I'm just saying do something very "out there!" Like for me I dress a little crazy and I'm crazy in general and I love NBC the movie SO WAT! Even when some people do talk about it in a somewhat negitive way ,people that really do care about you will support you even if its a little crazy. So to all the people that follow the wave, It's cool to keep up in whatever but be yourself becuase it's the basic point of being "alternative" or whatever. That's why we don't belittle ourselves into wearing,saying,doing EVERYTHING like everyone else. AND THAT'S WAY RAD...yet I typed rad so what ,oh well. So you can take some of my ideas and mix yours and your friend's ideas and stuff to create a totally orginial you.

Do something....

Recently I was listening to The Overtune of Haunted Mansion Movie and I had the sweetest idea for a sorry. The actual music is extremely beautifully composed. So back to the story, the story is very loosing based off the Haunted Mansion plot line. The setting is set in the late 1800s (basically when people still dress very fancy and formal.) The is basically about a very rich yet abusive man name Henry Raven is treating his girlfriend in a abusive style. So one of the butlers that work for them finally got his revenge on Henry and murder him during a party. He ends up haunting his stately mansion and one by one killing off his guest.
Seriously, go express some or even all of your ideas for stories,movie music, really anything and put it out there.

Duct Tape

Yeah,Duct Tape...... Back then (about couple years ago) I thought duct tape was only for taping stuff together but now there's a whole world just for duct tape.Well, this alternative material coming in the typical black and silver-ish gray but it also comes in many other NEON colors now. With duct tape you can basically make anything you can think of.For example I saw someone make a Ipod case from duct tape.I was planning to make a skinny tie and maybe even a vest. Yes the most common thing is to make is a wallet but think outside of the box. It all about if you get inspiration.

A Twist in Music

Yes, this band or whatever have been doing tributes to other artists like forever but they are still not as well know as I like it to be. There twist in the music the redo is a total score! Prefect music for any formalish party or whatever you are having anytime of the year. They are called The Vitamin String Quartet. They redo a big range of "Alternative" artists like My Chemical Romance,Fall Out Boy,etc.... one of my favs are there tributes to MCR(My Chem)Well I hope you get a real kick out of this band.

This is a example that you can dress "alternative" without wearing too much black.Yes,there is a black tee but there's also purple skinny(indie fit) pants,checker green belt and a red sweater.So show some color for the coming holiday season.Sorry about the bad pic i was in a rush.
